#Bottle
My last carefully designing virtual character was human, as a pharmacist. Gradually, my image has been simplified into a potion with different ingredients every year. When designing this new character, I decided to keep this “bottle” element.
In addition, it is a dangerous thing to expose the soft eyeball to the air, not to mention how horrible if the tentacles are directly inserted on an eyeball (even if it may has a theoretical design according to biological morphology).
#Eyeball
Although everyone can chat for a whole day in the Middle Ages, their speeches contain only a small amount of value, because they have no systematic knowledge or even literacy. Under the influence of my “unobtrusive” mode of action for many years, I have become less proactive in the Internet posting, because it is necessary to consider whether info is valuable before posting. In most cases, the answer is: no.
So I decided not to design a sounding organ for my new character. If necessary, it can temporarily simulate one with the tentacles’ organization as in the About page’s image.
Observe and read, and summarize info in the brain, then use the summaries to create advantages in action. This is what I expect to do.
After all, in some certain aspects, silence means security (of course not in security development).
About the blood vessels around the eyeball, using real vessel style makes the view terrible, so I replaced them with node style.
The eyeball shape is based on a clothing brand: Мишка , a friend told me that when I doing a character satisfaction small research. At that time, I found that image on the search engine. What a beautiful eyeball, but it is too hot, not suitable for my dress style.
#Tentacle
This element is my little desire. If I can choose my form freely, I will choose the tentacle as at least part of all limbs. Using them to play the keyboard may be faster than the hands, although the keyboard is designed for human hands. We can make the tentacles become the shape of any tool we want, which is a cartoonized process.
What’s more, if a character has no hands, it can only use tools by unreliable power, such as the power of mind (Although it has made it unreal that it’s external part is a bottle) .
#The name
Designed in half, I took a closer look, wow, isn’t it looks like the Beholder in D&D (Contains horror elements, carefully click) ? Since its exterior is a bottle, then call it Boholder.
#Where I use this name
So far I only have one email address and github account to use this name. It seems that this name is registered on plenty of popular social platforms. This is a good thing, which can help me to confuse my identity. Whatever, they are not me, I mean, who own this website, the email, as well as PGP private key, you know.
